🙏 "Do not say anything harsh; what you have said will be said back to you. Angry talk is painful; retaliation will get you." - The Buddha
I get it; this Buddha quote can feel like a tough pill to swallow, especially for fiery and passionate souls like us. Sometimes, I find myself admiring those with airy qualities who can effortlessly brush off offense or attacks. Me? Well, I don't intend to insult anyone, but when pushed far enough, I could unleash some truth bombs that feel like ripping someone's head off.
But here's the thing, BEAUTIFUL SOULS, reacting in anger is a form of retaliation, not wisdom. It took me a while to figure this out. When I was young, I stumbled upon a monk's philosophy: wait 3 days before responding when triggered by emotion. I've been practicing this technique for over 30 years, and let me tell you, it's still a challenge.
I've managed to control my urge to set someone straight immediately to about 85%, but it's a divine journey. It's like that righteous anger Jesus showed, and if I'm not there, then maybe it's best I keep quiet. At least that's how I see it.
I know life can get rough out here, but remember, spiritual warfare can mess you up if you don't tend to your own vessel – your true hearth and home. So, I want to hear from you beautiful souls – how do you handle anger with wisdom? Share your insights in the comments, just like our 3-day monk philosophy. Together, we can navigate these streets with grace and wisdom. 🌟💪✨ #WisdomInAction #SpiritualWarfare #DivineJourney
