Grieving is a journey that takes time & self loving care. Sometimes, it's important to give ourselves thee space we need to process our emotions before announcing our grievances to thee world. ((Welcome to innergy Management Solutions at its finest)) I know it may seem counterintuitive, but taking time for ourselves can be a healthy way to grieve without spiraling out of emotional control.
In moments of loss, it's crucial to honor our own temple, our life experiences, and thee love we feel for others. It's wise to give ourselves permission to step back & deal with our pain in our own way. While some may feel offended by our need to hermit & seek solace in solitude, it's essential that we respect each other's unique ways of navigating through challenging times that are filled with sadness and grief.
When I find myself in the midst of grieving, I choose to hermit in order to heal in a healthy manner. During this sacred time, I engage in activities that help me express and release my emotions. Writing becomes my sanctuary, where I pour my heart into poetry, songs, affirmations, and prayers. Long walks in nature become my healing balm for my curly mind. Spending quality time with animals and my daughter brings me comfort and a sense of connection. Yoga, dance, and exercise help me release tension and find solace in thee physical realm. Creating art and crafting become outlets for my emotions, allowing me to channel my grief into something tangible. And yes, LOTS OF TIMES I cry my heart & soul out, allowing my tears to serve as thee cleansing release.
In this hermiting, I also choose to share my thoughts and feelings with those I trust, whom are going through similar experiences or who simply understand my need for solitude. I am grateful for my close-knit circle of loved ones whom respect my distance, tears & silence during times of grief.
We must remember that none of us are exempt from loss and grief. However, it is important that we do not allow ourselves to become lost in depression or sorrow. There is a delicate balance between honoring our grief and finding ways to heal and move forward.
One of my favorite ways to pass thee time and find solace in creativity is by printing out coloring pages that speak to my soul and coloring them. This simple act of engaging my inner child & allowing thee divine to work miracles within me & heal my soul in its own time brings me immense comfort.
In closing, I want to extend love and virtual hugs to anyone who may be in need. Remember, grieving is a personal journey, and it's okay to take thee time and space you need to heal.
Trust in the process, and know that you are never alone.
