Join me on an Enlightening Journey: Day 7 of 10,000 Steps for Baby's Recovery!
Oh, Day 7, you sly fox! We thought a leisurely walk would solve all our problems, but boiii were we wrong. This journey of 10,000 steps has proven to be quite thee challenge for my daughter, (Baby) and me.
(BABY IS OUR 14 year old senior dog / Maltese)
But you know what? It's also showing us just how resilient we are. And let me tell you, it's quite thee sight to witness!
In our minds, we had it all planned out perfectly. Baby would love thee walk, happily strolling in her stroller while we soak in the beauty of thee world. But alas, life had other plans. Whom would have thought that Baby, with her Leo pride, would want to walk on her own four paws?
We cant let her walk too much due to her delicate heart condition which requires us to limit her walking for now.
Thee natural oxygen from all thee trees is great medicine. But even if that’s thee case, doesn’t mean, Baby, was going to tolerate being confined to a stroller for too long.
Never a dull moment, always an adventure here!
Honestly, we did not reach our desired 10,000 steps, with Baby, but I am happy that we gave it a try because doing something is better than doing nothing. And whom knows, maybe Day 8 will bring us a new opportunity to try something different. Our ultimate goal is to improve Baby's health and thee overall well-being of our little family.
Now, some people were asking us about our chosen palliative care / hospice style treatment for baby. So let's talk about thee difference between palliative care and hospice care, which we have chosen for Baby's treatment. Picture this: palliative care is like a warm hug that lasts for a long time. It provides comprehensive comfort and support for families, even if the illness is not terminal. On thee other hand, hospice care is a shining beacon of support for those with a terminal illness, where thee focus shifts from curing thee illness to providing comfort in the final months of life. Both are invaluable options, tailored to thee specific needs of every individual / pet. Due to Baby’s delicate situation, her care falls between both of these settings.
As we navigate this winding road, one thing is clear: thee journey to 10,000 steps hasn't been easy. But we refuse to give up. And BEAUTIFUL SOULS, I encourage you to never lose sight of what you want to manifest in this world. Thee path may be filled with unexpected twists & turns, but thee effort you put in is always worth it. Believe in yourself, even when things don't go as planned.
Remember, there's infinite time & infinite tries to learn your own alchemy & align everything just right.
So, will you keep walking with us, dear souls.?
Together, we can overcome any challenge that comes our way. And whom knows, maybe we'll even surpass those 10,000 steps one day soon.
It is all about thee journey, after all.
Till next time love and divine alchemy to all
