The other day
I had to check my own waves
throwing writers shade
an old un friends unfriendly way
unnecessary I would say
non apologies anyway
for truly I have learned my ways
but this subject here is open for
debate

I could of said a name

I could of told a story 

I could of said a lot more

I  could of said a lot less

but I AM
putting that Defect to rest
and just THANK GOD everyday
that no tragedy ever had to come into being
for something the Great pretenders pretend can not be

refusing to SEE

easier to pretend for she
and that kind of lie
burns lives
and that is an energy I will not plague around with
its like being married
