With the Eight of cups we are being asked to abandon what is gentler and to face our fears of the unknown. Eight is the # of death & rebirth. The Eight of cups suggests leaving behind an emotional situation that has outlived its usefulness. There is an opportunity to start something NEW, as long as the process of letting go is unconditional. That is also accompanied with forgiveness.
