I almost didn’t share this video. I was about to record it again, all because I feel I do not appear as cool , calm and collected as I would prefer to look and be on camera - but then I remembered I’ve been doing ALL of this for a very long time !!! Thee original purpose behind thee start of my social media presence was with my blog, created way back in 2008, along with my YouTube channel created many, many moons ago. Thee whole point was to be uncut, unedited, raw, real & super genuine. So here I am, handling things graciously while still sharing this video with all of its imperfections… even though the insecure side of me is saying, “delete it now!” 😂 But I didn’t & I won’t & I AM proud of myself for not caving into that fear or insecurity. There are gems in this video & it’s up to you, thee viewer, to extract those for yourself!
Oh, and if I could give myself one little tip, it’d be: “Girl, lick your lips!” 😂 Clearly, I need some moisturizer because thee weather has gotten real brisk out here and it definitely shows!
Anyhoo, back to the topic 😋 this video is for sure all over the place, but thee subject is dopetastic. We’re diving into Hans Christian Andersen’s The Red Shoes & how easy it is to get caught up in something shiny on the outside that you lose all sense & sensibility. We all have felt lost on these earthly lands.
Just a heads up this video is a bit longer than i intended (Enchantress Thee Babbler is I ! ) I become so shy & distracted easily when I hear people or noises unfamiliar & so I get a bit nervous. It’s like wanting to hide in public - I know some of you can relate 🤦🏽♀️
