If you keep thinking one gender is the crux of the problem,
It is you, my friend, who's adding to the conundrum.
If you believe one class, one party, one race, one creed,
Is the root of all evil, it's a narrow perspective indeed.
True, some issues may stem from these divides,
But the bigger problem is the bias that inside us resides.
Consider this: movements start with noble intent,
Aiming to fix, to heal, to mend, to prevent.
Yet, when zeal turns to zealotry, we lose our way,
The woke feminist agenda, gender equality, LGBTQIA,
All began as cries for justice, for equal rights to bestow,
But when extremism takes hold, it's a dangerous undertow.
Which religion, which god, which form of worship you choose,
Shouldn't dictate humanity's collective views.
The cry of humanity, "woke" yet it feels like a joke,
For in the rush to be right, empathy we revoke.
As Gandhi wisely said, "Be the change that you wish to see in the world,"
Let's not be wells of anger, where hatred is hurled.
Let's strive for understanding, for compassion, for grace,
For in unity, not division, lies the human race's embrace.
This world may seem like hell, a challenging ordeal,
But within us lies the power to heal.
So, let's rise above, let's elevate our view,
For the change we seek starts with me and you.
