In the realm where spirits dwell,
A ghost returns, a haunting spell,
Seeking one more dance, one more chance,
To put me in his captivating trance.
But little does he know, I've evolved,
No longer lost, no longer involved,
His enchantment once held me tight,
But now I'm ready to speak, to fight.
This ghost creeps, wanting to persuade,
Without revealing the chains he made,
He longs to pull me in, to control,
But I won't succumb to his lurking soul.
For deep within, our spirits knew,
The truth of each other, me and you,
But silence was all that we had found,
A void that kept us both tightly bound.
Now he returns, trying to reclaim,
The light of my soul, my spirit's flame,
But I've broken free, I've found my way,
No longer his muse, no longer his prey.
What is this haunting, this ghostly lover?
If he chooses to hide, I won't discover,
I won't be a part of his realm of deceit,
His biggest lie, his heart's silent plea.
So let him linger in his ghostly guise,
While I embrace the truth, the love that lies,
Within my own heart, within my own soul,
No longer haunted, I am finally whole.
