Day 3 - A Journey of 10,000 Steps with My Daughter
As we embark on day 3 of our walking adventure, alongside my beautiful daughter, I can't help but feel thee warmth in my heart from thee quality time we're spending together. My Pisces moon is sensitive and grateful, cherishing these moments shared with her.
Unlike thee first day, when lantern flies seemed to pop up everywhere, today's journey was less bothered by their presence.
It's funny how they make us scream and run, but I am working on overcoming my fear of bugs. My daughter's phobia of bugs on thee other hand always manages to bring laughter to our walks.
Planning our walk each day has proven to be a smart approach. Having a destination in mind makes our journey more rewarding.
On day 3, our adventure led us to a crystal shop, which was my personal reward as I adore metaphysical shops. Following that, my daughter wanted to visit Urban Outfitters, so we did. We then stopped by Playa Bowls for a refreshing smoothie run, where they generously offered free elderberry shots, which we found surprisingly delicious.
After an intense walk like today's, it's crucial to give our bodies thee rest they need. I've noticed that upon returning home, our bodies are still energized, reminiscent of our post-yoga class sensations.
This is when Shavasana also known as Corpse Pose, is very important to practice as a part of our exercise. Resting is thee equivalent of this too. It allows us to absorb thee benefits of our practice & integrate thee mind, body & breath. Shavasana helps reset body temperature, calm thee central nervous system & bring thee breath back to normal.
So, my advice after these three days of walking 10,000 steps is to honor your body's need for this restorative process. Your body will thank you for thee compassion you show it. The Kundalini heat that rises within us starts to simmer down, and during these restorative moments, creativity often flourishes.
I am filled with excitement for day 4 of our walking journey, where health, wealth, and stealth await.
Will you join us on this path of wellness and discovery?
Remember, you don't have to start with 10,000 steps right away. Choose a more manageable number that suits your current fitness level.
Remember, thee beginning is always thee hardest part of any journey; it gets easier as we move forward. May our journey inspire yours.
Sending love & divine alchemy to all.
Thank you for joining me in this sacred space.
