Compassion does Exist

He said
"How are you feeling?
Better?" he said this while keeping
and making eye
contact with me
I said, "I am well"
he said
"sorry, but you still do not look well,
even though you do"
This is his 3rd day going on in his not being pushy
yet
inquiring cause he can see
that some part of me is not ok
Compassionate are his
waves
I said, "I am ok,
I am just sad"
he said
"WHY? is that?"
I said,  "my dog died"
he took a huge step back
he said "oh WOW
I understand fully well
I am Sorry to hear
that"
he said he knows how that feels
his compassion
was real
"I Am sensitive you know?"
he said yea
"I know
so am I"
