The ladybug is keenly aware of their surroundings and they are able to feel all vibrations through their legs, gifting them the ability to sense the energy of what they touch which is another form of PROTECTION for them along with their hard shell covering protecting them from their soft insides. The RED color of the Ladybug also is a WARNING to its predators to KEEP AWAY, this is a good message for those met with this Spirit Animal Totem.. asking you not to be aggressive in your approach with others yet to DEFEND yourself when absolutely needed!
Tiny LadyBugs are GENTLE and most LOVING. They give off an energy of being HARMLESS. Although Tiny by nature LADYBUGS are FEARLESS.

Ladybug has its roots in the middle ages when it was dedicated to the VIRGIN MARY and called the beetle of our lady. This ideology links to spiritual idealism and religious devotion. What better devotion to express than that of absolute LOVE & JOY? Ladybug people usually have past lives linked to religion or church.
For me this statement rings true especially with my own past life card readings I have done for myself. This is NOT the first time this Spirit Animal has shown itself to me. As I have previously stated that once I am met with my spirit Animals I am a lot like Elmira from the Tiny Toons Adventures and I never let them go. I cherish and honor their presence in my life and APPRECIATE when they make themselves known to me once again for life is all about cycles and flow and this LADYBUG is reminding me of her message at this time for me in my life.
