The Hierophant strengthens our morals and our Confidence in life and in ourselves. The search for meaning through religion, philosophy, or spirituality is indicated by this card.
It's funny that I draw this card on a day like today ... Well what am I saying .. It's not funny .. It's divinely in alignment with my soul journey and purpose & process.

The Hierophant, or Pope often appears in papal robes standing between two pillars which represents his ability to BALANCE opposing forces. Where the Emperor is a representation of the masculine, the Hierophant represents the Spiritual Masculine.
The number 5 is associated with him which is indicative of his spiritual power, inner wisdom, and mental inspiration as well his ability to synthesize information.
The Hierophant offers the gift of GUIDANCE on Spiritual matters & represents the NEED we Breathe & oh so DESIRE in seeking the Spiritual meaning in our lives.
The Symbolism of the Hierophant represents the Spiritual Guide within each of us that links our WORLDLY persona with our highest of Spiritual Vibrations. One way he assists us in this process is by helping us to establish a dialogue between our conscious mind and the part of us that desires & seeks for constant communication with our source.
The role here is to create a link between people and the divine.
The Hierophant reflects our inner DESIRE to give more meaning to things and to RAISE our consciousness so that we no longer feel the division deep inside of ourselves. The longing to experience this higher dimension of life is what Carl Jung coined the term / label / conditioning ...
"the religious function." It describes the intuitive feeling that there is more to life than the simple and mundane.
The Hierophant is the driving force behind the spiritual beliefs or philosophical values that each of us forms.
Sooner or later, life requires us to put these things to the test and SEE if what you say you Believe is what you really Believe / Perceive ... Do you really believe ??? Do you Show your faith !!! Or do you fall down another rabbit hole ?
Ultimately, the Hierophant symbolizes our innate desire to ACHIEVE a BALANCE between our Worldly and Spiritual impulses so that we infuse the two together and do our do ~ becoming whole...
