This Universe is AMAZING
Mawu is a creator goddess of the Ewe/ Fon cultures of Abomey/ Dahomey (Republic of Benin) in Africa. She is personified as the moon and is known as the aged mother of the west, the setting sun, who brings cooler temperatures, which symbolizes wisdom and advanced stages of life. Mawu is a steward of the earth, who works to preserve nature. She works in tandem with her son/ husband Liza whose serpentine body is curled beneath the earth, keeping it suspended in the sky. Why Mawu? The creator goddess energy is powerful, yet gentle with a graceful strength, representing our planet, full of life. It reminds us that there is enough love, wealth and resources on earth for all of us to share and live abundantly! For us, Mawu, who comes from the cradle of civilization, symbolizes the sacred energy of the earth, and our physical bodies as well as our connection and bond with nature. Her energy is a grounding tool, offering a practical approach to New Age ideas and practices. Mawu reminds us that we must all do our part to help the planet and each other, working to create balance and harmony between matter and spirit. Why Angels? The word Angel means, messenger of God. Angels are non-denominational spirit energy that is here to help us remember our inherent goodness, the divinity within us and the importance of happiness in our lives. We have witnessed the love and healing power of angelic energy in our lives and in the lives of others, and incorporated the word to reflect the powerful healing energy of our mission and work. We call in the angels to aid us in all of our endeavors to ensure integrity, love and service. We can also act as angels to one another by being compassionate, loving and helpful. - See more at: http://mawuangels.com/about-us/our-name/#sthash.iQKbH6eM.dpuf
