pentacles
•Stagnation
• Nothing ventured , Nothinng Gained
This card epitomizes "nothing ventured, nothing gained" & having insufficient faith in the unknown. Some kind of action or risk is required to keep things flowing on both a material and an emotional level.
He sits with 3 pentacles forming a triangle and one pentacle above his head ... The pentacle he holds closest to him, he appears calm and secure. But at the same tkme neither animated not inspired. The warning here is that although we may feel secure when we possess something, the desire for material security can ultkmately stifle our growth.
The four of pentacles describes an unwillingness to share our material or emotional resources. As a result, we become miserly with regard to money and love. We may be so comfortable with our circumstances that we become complacent. Although it is very pleasant to be financially secure the desire to hold on to what we have can stifle growth and block creative energy, so that we stop moving forward and instead limit ourselves to what is familiar.
When we put too much emphasis on the material world, we may lack vitality and inspiration. Our over cautiousness becomes an obstacle to further change and we become excessively possessive of what we have. We may even become suspicious of other peoples motives. This card suggest a need to confront our FEAR of LETTING GO & RECOGNIZE WHY we are holding on so Tightly to our possessions and emotions.
The Four of PENTACLES when chosen may indicate that you feel bogged down by materialistic concerns. It warns of Dangers of being too possessive of your finances and your emotions.
You need to share what you have or you may become stifled by a lackluster approach to life. Your sense of self value may be too dependent on what you own and you may need to let go of certain things in order to reevaluate yourself. This card suggest a GOOD LONG TERM FINANCIAL OUTLOOK provided you become more flexible.
