ANT FARM

How many times 

have I sat on these same 

steps 

in the same light of observance 

Listening 

have I always been 

Waiting 

on some miraculous answer 

chirped into me by the birds 

what is the act of this remembering 

this familiar stationing 

As I sit on the top of these stairs 

listening out here 

for everything in here

Do you see ?.
