Love Licked off a Knife 🔪

They say if love wasn't served on a silver spoon in youth,  

You'd learn to lick it off a knife, uncouth.  

In this life we are spooked. But how is that right, in the dead of night,  

When it's the fight of our lives, in the strife,  

To align and unlearn what was never a gift,  

Yet we yearn to find our spirits uplift.

The next time you choose to lick love off a knife,  

Cut your tongue, let it bleed, feel the strife.  

Feel the pain, set it free, let it flow,  

Only then can you heal, only then can you grow.

It's not easy to unlearn, to find spaces unknown,  

To navigate avenues where light's barely shone.  

And yet, here we are, loving even more,  

So that we, in return, can love's warmth explore.

Thee Mystic Channel

Where do I start on this journey of automatic writing & channeling? Some might wonder when I first discovered I was an automatic channeler in my writing. I must say, as a young child before thee age of 10, I found myself asking, "Where did these handwritings come from? Whom wrote these poems?" While I am indeed a writer, and thee me that is she does write her own poems, songs, scripts & stories, there was a different kind of fascination that emerged within me. It happened when I would trance-like & freely write something so quickly and fervently, without much thought, only to read it back afterward & exclaim, "Oh my goodness, whom wrote that?" That moment marked thee beginning of my fascination with this divine ability to channel. It is a gift, I want to believe, to be able to channel in ways that are outside myself, yet within myself, and through myself, but not of myself. Does that make any sense? To me, it certainly does. My ability to write has always been an integral part of my life, for which I am eternally grateful. Plato had it right when he said, "Poets compose their beautiful poems not by art but because they are inspired and possessed." I wholeheartedly agree that his wisdom resonates with my entire being—mind, body, heart, and soul, boldly.

This journey of automatic writing and channeling is a sacred dance with thee divine, a harmonious blend of inspiration & possession that transcends thee boundaries of the self, myself, every self. It is a testament to thee power of all that is unseen, thee unspoken & the unfathomable depths of our own creativity. As I continue to explore this mystical realm, I am reminded of thee infinite possibilities that lie within thee simple act of putting pen to paper. It is here, in the quiet moments of connection, that I find my truest voice and thee most profound expressions of my soul.
