In practicing thee wisdom of waiting three days before reacting a teaching from a monks lesson I discovered in junior high & wanted to apply its learn & it's been over 35 + years of evolutionary life experience. It's not always easy, but it's been worth it. 🙏

My daughter had been pestering me for ages to try out this threading salon she'd heard about, BLISS Spa, located on 369 Broad Street in Bloomfield, NJ. With promising reviews and her enthusiasm, I finally caved in and decided to give it a shot. Little did I know, this spontaneous decision would lead to an eyebrow adventure I won't soon forget.

I must admit, I had no intention of getting my eyebrows threaded. After all, it had been over nine years since my last threading experience, and I wasn't eager to voluntarily subject myself to what I jokingly called "human torture." Okay, so maybe threading isn't that bad, but you do need to build up a tolerance for it. Anyway, my daughter and I entered BLISS Spa, where we were warmly welcomed by the spa owner herself.

Up until that point, I was content just to be the observer, watching my daughter go through the smooth threading process. She seemed completely pain-free, and both she and the spa owner kept urging me to join in. At first, I declined, but as another customer walked in, I suddenly changed my mind and decided to go for it. That's when the adventure truly began.

Let me tell you, threading my coarse eyebrow hair was no walk in the park. While my daughter appeared to be immune to pain, every thread felt like a tiny jolt of electricity on my skin.
