Once upon a Timeless

Once upon a timeless non adventure her father use to promise her sweet things. He would say we are going to go here. He would say we are going to go there. We are going to do this and that. 

Excited she would become. Anticipation would vibrate through she & little did she know at first to realize - he was full of shit. 

Her fathers promises were all empty. 

He never did quite deliver. 

Quality Time with him would of been special. But those things never did happen. 

She learned from an early age that men were rather disappointing in this department. No wonder she had a hard time believing any of them. No wonder she attracted disappointing fools such as her fool of a father. 

That’s why he was so familiar. 

That’s why he hurt. 

That’s why his words felt empty. 

He was another evolution of her dad.  

This time.. 

he was more charming & she almost got fooled. 

He told her things as he fell through on the people, places and things. 

At least she was able to acknowledge earlier on this time around. 

Discernment something she is still learning.
