Uncut Birthday Truths
My daughters happy birthday to me was not in the form of your typical .. "hey Mom, happy birthday" it was more like .. "So, today is your birthday" & that was it ... And I LOVED it .. You know why ??? Because even though it may have not been my ideal of how I wished she would treat my birthday it was in the fact that in her OWN way she acknowledged it and with her Own version of love that she at 13 is able to give ... She gave it to me ... And that means more than anything I could ever ask for in this entire world ... Blessings I swear to you they are all around ... Taste them ...
