UNCUT ~ rainbows
The end of the Rainbow signifies a pot of gold and the magic that surrounds your dreams coming true, and the end of the rainbow is the enchanted magical land of leprechauns.
Rainbow symbolism has such a powerful meaning to each of us and graciously bestows the energy of blessings. The symbolism of a Rainbow intuitively tells us to hold onto hope, to believe beyond a shadow of a doubt that sacred blessings open to us when we are following our hearts desire. And the symbol of the Rainbow tells us that we are guided to our hearts desire when we open to spirit to let it guide us.
Double Rainbow Symbolism... Serendipity
A double rainbow means serendipitous magic is on the way, the path of personal magic is opening for you. Be true to yourself and your dreams and know that the Universe is conspiring on your behalf. This also tells you that your intuition is keener than you might have imagined... it says "it's a sure sign to trust your vibes".
The Rainbow - As A Symbol
"Somewhere over the Rainbow,
way up high
There's a land that I heard of,
once in a lullaby.
...Birds fly over the Rainbow,
why then, oh why can't I?"
-lyrics: "Over the Rainbow", from "Wizard of Oz"
A Rainbow is one of the most beautiful artistic creations that
Nature herself can paint for us. When we are given the
opportunity to view a Rainbow we become mesmerized and
enchanted by the breathtaking Beautywhich appears in the
untouchable distance; a Beauty which comes to us directly
from the paintbrush of Divinity.
All four of Nature's Elements participate in the creation of the
Rainbow: Fire, Earth, Air and Water.
The Rainbow is created by the first rays of the Sun (Fire)
piercing through the heavenly dew (Water) which is still
suspended in the sky above (Air) after a rainstorm. And the
Rainbow touches the ground below (Earth) at both ends of its
majestic arc.
The Symbolism of the Rainbow is both rich and ancient.
As a bridge:
First of all, the Rainbow looks just like a bridge which links two
parts of the earth. However, as the highest point of the Rainbow
touches the heavens, it also represents a link, or bridge, between
the Spiritual realm above with the realm of matter below.
In this respect the Rainbow, as a bridge, is a pathway, a Ladder,
or an intermediary by which Spirit can descend into matter and
matter can ascend back to Spirit. It also represents the link through
which the worlds of Spirit and matter can communicate with each
other.
And, as being a link between heaven and earth, or gods and mortals,
it therefore represents the colorful medium through which Divine
Speech, Word and Instruction is bestowed upon humanity.
As a journey's end:
The leprechaun's legendary and mystical "pot of Gold" is to be
found at the end of the Rainbow. The leprechaun wears a green
jacket and green is the color of the evergreen, or eternal. It is
also the color of fertility and abundance. Gold is a Symbol for
the untarnishable and the incorruptible. Therefore the leprechaun's
"pot of Gold" represents the pure and eternal replenishment of
abundance and fertility, the Cornucopia, which abounds throughout
Nature's realm.
Noah saw a Rainbow at the end of the great and turbulent Flood
which signified the end of his voyage and a return to calmness and
peace. In this respect the Rainbow is also a Symbol for cleansing.
As A Symbol for Cleansing:
As the Rainbow only appears after stormy skies, it is a Symbol
for the restoration of cosmic order.
As celestial rain is necessary for the skies to be cleansed and
the Earth to be nourished the Rainbow Symbolizes Divinity's
cleansing and fertilizing Cycle. This Cycle ushers in the next
period of Nature's growth and rebirth.
And, just as turbulent storms are necessary for Nature to
cleanse and feed the Earth, so too are emotional storms
necessary in our lives in order to cleanse away our burdens
and feed our souls.
In this respect the Rainbow also Symbolizes the peace and
calmness which comes to us at the end of unsettling periods of
our lives.
For, after our emotional tears are finally drained from us our Road
ahead becomes clear, our Rainbow is shining above it, and the
Path we must follow toward our objective, our "pot of Gold", now
Becomes clear to us.
Colors Of The Rainbow:
A seven-colored Rainbow is created when invisible light passes
through Water particles in the sky.
The seven colors of the Rainbow are also brought into view when
invisible light passes through a prism.
This passing of invisible light through either Water particles or a
prism Symbolizes the manifestation ofSpirit into matter. It is the
manifested "appearance" of invisible Deity in the physical realm.
When we gaze upon a Rainbow we are granted a brief glance at
one of the beautiful physical aspects of the Divine Unknowable.
The seven colors of the Rainbow represent the seven spheres, or
seven Heavens, through which Spirit descends in order to become
physical matter.
The seven colors of the Rainbow are also the colors associated
with the seven Chakras. From base to crown, the seven colors of
the Chakras are: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and
violet.
And just as these seven colors are the manifestation of invisible
Deity through either dewy skies or a prism, so too do these
seven colors of our Chakras represent the manifestation of
invisible Divinity within each one of us as our Atman, or God within.
Here is an interesting note: although we are taught that the Three
primary colors are red, yellow and blue, there is a fourth primary
color, indigo, which is the color associated with our "third eye"
Chakra.
Primary means something which is first or original; something
which cannot be created from something else; something
unique and therefore "god-like". And it is in this respect that the
color indigo represents the "god-like" power which exists within
the pineal gland of our "third-eye" Chakra.
The Second Inverted Rainbow:
From Wikipedia: Although most people will not notice it because
they are not actively looking for it, a dim secondary rainbow is
often present outside the primary bow. Secondary rainbows are
caused by a double reflection of sunlight inside the raindrops, and
appear at an angle of 50–53°. As a result of the second reflection,
the colours of a secondary rainbow are inverted compared to the
primary bow, with blue on the outside and red on the inside. The
secondary rainbow is fainter than the primary because more light
escapes from two reflections compared to one and because the
rainbow itself is spread over a greater area of the sky. The dark
area of unlit sky lying between the primary and secondary bows
is called Alexander's band, after Alexander of Aphrodisias who
first described it.
The 50-53 degree angle of the Rainbow is also similar to the
angle, or outer slope, of the Great Pyramid which is approximately
51.85 degrees. Therefore, much of the Symbolism associated
with the Great Pyramid also applies to the Rainbow.
(See: "Egyptian Pyramid, Part 1" and "Egyptian Pyramid, Part 2")
The second Rainbow is both nearly invisible and its colors are
inverted. Its near-invisibility offers us, and Symbolizes, a short-lived
glimpse of the manifestation of Divinity into the usually invisible
Spiritual realm.
Its inverted colors Symbolize both theMirror and the process of
ascension and descension.
As all Mirrors are a reflection, in reverse, of that which is being
reflected, the visible Rainbow is a reflection and earthly
manifestation of the seldom visible Spiritual Rainbow. Just as
Spirit manifests into matter, so too does the Spiritual Rainbow
manifest itself into the visible physical Rainbow; but in a reverse
colored order.
As we experience ascension through the progression of our
Chakras from red to violet, Spirit experiences descension
(manifestation) into the physical realm by way of the seven colored
spheres, or Chakras, of violet to red.
Therefore, the colors of the seldom seen, and nearly invisible,
second Rainbow Symbolize the order ofdescent of Spirit into
matter. The colors of the visible Rainbow Symbolize the order
of ascent of matter back into Spirit.
Closing Thoughts and Observations:
The Rainbow is the result, or manifestation, of the union of
Sun-light (Superconscious illumination and enlightenment) with
Water (the Great Sub-Conscious and the Mysterious Unknown).
As the Rainbow only appears after turbulent storms it is a
Symbol of the cleansing process which heralds in new life, new
creation and new Times.
As the chameleon can change its body color into any of the
seven colors of the Rainbow, it is associated with the Rainbow.
Rainbow-colored ribbons are used by Shamans when they
"journey into the sky" by way of their trance-like astral voyages.
It is during these meditative journeys that the Shaman raises his,
or her, consciousness to a higher state of awareness in order
to transit into the higher Spiritual realms for divinitory purposes.
The seven Chakra colors of the Rainbow also represent the
ultimate state of transformation we can experience during
meditation whereby all of the visible colors of manifestation,
from densest to purest, are transformed back into invisible and
pre-manifested light; a process through which we can experience
a return to the Oneness of paradise.
And finally, from Dictionary of Symbolismby Hans Biedermann,
pages 277-8, we have the following:
In ancient Greece Iris was the virginal rainbow goddess, rushing
down from Mount Olympus to communicate to mortals the
commands of Zeus and Hera; Iris is portrayed with WINGS and
the CADUCEUS, clothed in the "iridescent" dew. (The similarly
iridescent pigmented membrane of the eye is thus called the "iris".)

SPARKLES
What Do Sparkles Look Like?
Sparkles, as seen by people, may look something like this: resembling small flecks of dust, iridescent particles, flashes of light, blinking clear lights and something called “static,” such as the static or fuzz you might see on the television when the station has gone off the air. What they are seeing are not physical things, but spiritual, energetic points of light. It is difficult to explain something without using common everyday things that we all recognize.
Many have said they see them better at night, in the dark. While others (especially, smaller children, see them during the daylight, even outside in the Sun. Others see them swirling in patterns, sometimes in different colors. These people have said they occasionally see black or dark sparkles, but not very often. Sometimes they spin around and blend together. Usually, it is seen with eyes closed as well as open.
Just What Are Sparkles: Lifting of the Veils
Now that the veils are lifting from our awareness, and the energies are opening up to other dimensions; we are able to recognize things so much more. The separation between the earthly realm and the spiritual realm is beginning to open up and blend. The thing is that the sparkles (or energy field) have always been there: just as the aura around a person is always there, but many people cannot see it. Only after they have been instructed as to what it is, and how to see it, do they really recognize it.
The way I understand, the particles that present themselves like sparkles are very visible. But it is not distinguished by the brain. It seems to be part of another dimension and not something that we are accustomed to seeing, so it does not register in the brain as real. Only after you understand that it could be a possibility can you begin to identify it.
Another way to think about it is the spirits of those who have passed away are always around us. But we might not be able to see them. Sometimes, you can see movement out of the corner of your eye. You turn your head, trying to see it physically and it disappears. It works the same way with sparkles.
Some children believe the sparkles are angel lights. That could be. There is a new resurgence of a phenomenon called “orbs”. They are large, round balls (at least larger than the sparkles) that float around, usually at night. Quite often they show up in photographs. They seem to represent spirit energies or entities of one kind or another and like to be around nature. So the thought that sparkles could be angel lights makes sense. I am given the information that the sparkles are “arranged” by angels in a manner that we can appreciate, and possibly connect with.
This whole phenomenon is becoming more familiar to society. Many other things dealing with the paranormal is coming to the surface. Many children and young adults are showing more abilities to understand, and exhibit psychic and mediumistic tendencies. These children, known as indigos or crystal children, are usually highly empathic and don’t know how to deal with it. These young folks are introducing the change that is springing forth even now. Those of us who are in the paranormal and metaphysical fields are here to be guides for the way-showers, and help them keep grounded. Then they are able to assist us all in the transformation of the world. I believe the kids seeing sparkles fall into this group of indigos and crystal children. And we must do much more to be of assistance.
http://thegobetween.wordpress.com/2012/01/19/the-truth-about-seeing-spirited-sparkles/
While most people sense (clairsentience) spirits before they ever see them, often the sensing is accompanied by other clues that you are being visited by those in the spirit world. These clues come in a variety of ways – they can use signs and symbols, noises, movement, and visuals. Spirits can visit you both while you are awake and while you are dreaming – and in this article, we're focusing specifically on 'waking visits' - those in which you are fully aware of your surroundings!
5 Most Common Ways to See Spirits
1. “Fuzzy air”
A change in the density or texture in the air around you is most common. Sometimes you will see a shape materialize or a wave move across a room. I often feel this ‘fuzzy air’ looks most like a heat wave in a definitive shape. The energetic vibration and density of a spirit is different than that of beings and things in the physical world, including air. Often people see this ‘heat wave’ type air when the lights are really low – as it’s easiest to see subtle energies in dim light (so are auras – if you want to practice!), and also in red light. Thus, if you aren't sure, dim the lights and keep your eyes peeled!
2. Mind’s eye (In your head)
Yup, in your mind. Often, this is how I see spirits, especially in public (when it would be awkward to see one with my physical eyes – how would I explain what I am looking at?). Behind your physical eyes, between your brows, is the Third Eye Chakra (mind’s eye), which is where your intuitive eye and perceptions are housed. This energy center extends in front of you and behind you, so often, when you are using your mind’s eye to see, the images are in your head – kind of like a memory or a flash of an image. The images can also flash in front or your eyes, so you “see” something, but it’s not with your physical eyes. Or you can see spirits in more of the form of a memory or the way you see things as imagination.
The best way I can describe how this happens is that we are all Spirit first, then human body, second. We are in Spirit before we are born onto earth and then return to Spirit after death. Thus, when we are young, we have the ability to see and sense spirit to some degree, as we get older, we become convinced that it isn’t real (either with our own help or by the assistance of others) and, train ourselves to stop seeing them with our physical eyes. . . but your mind will still pick up the images. And then, you see those in Spirit in your mind. If this is happening to you, you may think you are crazy – you aren’t crazy! (Congratulations, you’re clairvoyant!)
3. Sparkle of Light
We are all heard of “Shadow People”. And if you haven't they are presumably evil or negative spirits that visit people from the darkness.
However, loving, compassionate, and peaceful spirits also appear in shadow form. Deceased loved ones and spirit guides will often appear this way, which doesn’t mean they want to harm you. . It just means that’s the way they know how and can appear to you to appear to you! Appearing in Spirit to someone on the physical plane can be difficult and something that takes practice! If there are shadows in your house, it could be a visitation by a guide or a deceased loved one. . .so say hello and thank them for stopping by. But if it feels like a ‘lower energy’, then it might be . . . so careful - use your intuition here. The best way to make the distinction is to ask your deceased loved one or spirit guide to try visiting you in another way, where you feel more safe. Check out ways to do that here.
5. Full or Partial Apparition
This is rarer, but yes, you can see spirits as full or partial apparition. Deceased loved ones and angels often appear in this way.
- In Your Peripheral Vision
In all of the above methods of visitations, almost always, spirits will not simply materialize in front of your face (though sometimes they do). For most of us, that would be extremely terrifying, and because deceased loved ones, guides, and angels care about you – they don’t want to scare or upset you. Over time, as you get more comfortable with the spirit world, this may happen - Spirits appearing more casually around you. But for now, begin to watch for sparkles of light, shadows, apparitions, and fuzzy air in your peripheral vision – in the corners of your eyes. If you thought you saw something pass by the doorway –you did. If you caught a glimmer of light with no reflecting surfaces around – consider it a nice way someone is saying hello to you!

The combination of right/left brain processes for generating powerful realization
My Notes:
It’s not uncommon for the rune meaning of Thurisaz to be described as a thorn that is most sharp, a grim and evil thing to take grip on or touch. However, it is representative of Thor and his hammer, protecting Asgard from the thurses, giants who resist the expansion of consciousness throughout the multiverse. In every respect, the energies of Thurisaz are a forceful enemy of unconsciousness, ignorance and the rule of brute violence. Thurisaz represents the warrior that combines consciousness and wisdom with matters requiring force. Thor is the champion god of courageous and free human beings and the ultimate physical fighting force.
Thurisaz is also a fertility rune in the sense that it breaks down the barren and hard, rocky realms into workable soil as to bring fruitfulness to crops and wombs. The best mental state for working with the rune is enthusiasm, rather than anger or fear, as the former will much better sustain right awareness and diminish the potential danger of dealing with strong Thurisaz magic.
This early rune is representative of the use of tools and technology (so is KENAZ, to an extent), whether physical or psychological, especially as weapons of protection or active resistance against forces detrimental to the expansion of consciousness and awareness signified by DAGAZ. Human consciousness is a state of mind that evolved from pre-existing state of unconscious which continually strives to re-establish itself. Unless we promote consciousness actively in living out our lives we will succumb to entropy.
The power of Thurisaz is easily located because it is on the borderline, the frontier of consciousness. It is wise to never start a fight, but if one has started, be sure to finish it.
