The TOWER:

•restructuring 

•A new order

The only man made symbol in the entire tarot cards and it is hit with lightening and is on the point of collapse. The tower represents for us situations that we find ourselves in that are limiting and restricting and inhibit our capacity to develop fully.

What is external to us is at variance with our inner truth and this needs to be REMOVED in order for us to GROW...

The inevitable collapse of the tower is in fact A BLESSING IN DISGUISE for this card brings with it clarity and the realization that the status quo is imprisoning and no longer supportive to who we are. 

The tower indicates that the structures on which we have built our lives need to be TORN DOWN. They no longer support the truth of everything we are. This can be alarming and unsettling and this could also be very uncomfortable. It's never easy abandoning what we know or have become quite familiar with. In spite of being on shaky ground the tower heralds a cathartic period in that anything which has outlived its purpose will simply be ERADICATED from our lives.

sometimes the tower indicates Radical change of Thinking as we suddenly realize that we can no longer go in the same way and it is time to find a more authentic expression of ourselves. 

This can feel both liberating and alarming but the end result is worthwhile for our spirits.

Eirene was the Greek goddess who personified peace. Pronounced: IE-reen, Derived from Greek eirene meaning "peace". The goddess Eirene was named Pax in Roman mythology and honored during the rule of the Roman Emperor Augustus (Octavilian) About the time of the birth of Christ Eirene had a festival on January 3. and temples Ara Pacis, and another on the Forum Pacis.

Eirene was the personification of peace and wealth and was depicted in art as a beautiful young woman carrying a cornucopia, Horn of Plenty scepter and torch or sometimes olive branches and scepter.

Zeus and Themis bore the daughter Eirene who as a blooming flower, grows Peace among man and watch over the works of mortal men. Eirene was a source of inspiration for ancient artists, writers, and poets. 
Zeus and Themis also bore her sisters Lawfulness (Eunomia) and Justice (Dike) and the Seasons. Eirene was also one of goddesses who are collectively called the Horae or Seasons.
