DAILY SPIRIT ANIMAL GUIDE ~ PEACOCK

We are constantly given cues / clues / direction in our lives .. 

Random encounters with strangers .. Sometimes we overhear our answers in passing conversations..

Sometimes we see the same sequence of #'s over and over and over again 

Example: 1111 11:11 333 3:33 1212 12:12 444 4:44 and so forth

The next steps to take when encountering a "SIGN" is to do your research on it and figure out where this "MESSAGE" fits in with you ..

For example ..

Last few days I've been met with constantly seeing a "cock" < the animal ...

Also side note .. Chinese astrology I am a cock ~~ go figure ... 

From different locations people making reference in whatever manner it may be .. And the word "cock" appears .. 

Hahaha

Anyways.. But yesterday and today BAM I am met with Mr. PEACOCK ..

And I am reminded once again the importance of RESEARCH.. And taking the what may appear to be small instances and things I come across ...

And I am prompted to 

DIG DEEPER ..

So here is a mini Example of just that ...

Is not only for me..

Peacock, Power Animal, Symbol Beauty, Watchfulness, Immortality

Peacock/Peahen's Gifts Include - all aspects of beauty, wholeness, ability to see into the past, present, and future, immortality, dignity, rising out of ashes, self-confidence, watchfulness, immortality. 

Peacocks are birds of the pheasant family. The male is referred to as a peacock and the female a peahen, and both are peafowl. The most memorable features of the peacock are its stunning feathers and its eerie call. The Peacock is recognised world wide because of its beautiful feathers. There are many legends surrounding the peacocks gorgeous feathers - Greek mythology says Hera gave the peacock its many ‘eyes’. Chinese myths say that the blending of the 5 colours of its feathers gives us the sweet harmony of sound. In Egypt, the Peacock is associated with the Sun God Ra. In Christianity, the Peacock symbolises death and resurrection. 

The peacocks feathers are meaningful to those with this power animal, for they also have an association with resurrection, rising out of the ashes. They can help us shed the old feathers of the past and to take back the true beauty of our individuality. This increases self-respect and confidence. 

Peacocks have a shimmering opalescence, with boisterous cries that hold a touch of laughter - as if to imply that no-thing, including beauty, should be taken too seriously. This helps remind us to stay centred on what is, and to be grateful for what we have, and to also have a more light hearted approach to all things that come our way, as laughter really is the best medicine and helps to keep us healthy. This is an important facet of wholeness. Wholeness indicates a merging of one's many aspects, without an excessive focus on what appears to be missing. The peacock and peahen (though the latter seems a bit more dull compared to the peacock, but has just as commanding a presence) remind us that true beauty comes from the inside. 

The peacock is the closest in description to the mythical Phoenix, which rises, reborn, from the flames and ashes of its funeral pyre. The eyes on the peacocks feathers represent their ability to see into the past, present and future and can teach those with this power animal how to stir their clairvoyant gifts. The cycle of birth, death and resurrection (rebirth) is a whole. This relates to valuing all aspects of this cycle, and to have faith that we never truly die. 

Those who have Peacock as a power animal can get insights into their past lives and their karmic connection to their current life. Foot reflexology as a profession would also be advantageous as the feet are at the base of our (and other beings) structure and very pronounced in the Peacock. 

In Shamanic rituals peacock feathers are used as an aid in healing, as they are believed to have protective powers. The feather is moved over an injured or sick person in gentle strokes to get rid of negative psychic imprints that have attached themselves to a person's energetic field. If this is your power animal, generally you will be highly sensitive, therefore proper maintenance of your personal energy field is a must. When people with this power animal have acquired a strong and solid aura, they have the potential to become powerful ritualistic healers. 

Those with this totem often gain recognition for their talents and have the potential to be prominent leaders in their chosen field.

For 6 years I allowed myself to be abused by a psycho and for 6 years I lived in my own hell, because of a fear I allowed myself to create inside of my mind. 

I may sound harsh on myself as I write this but in actuality it is not harshness at all, I speak in complete honesty, love and with growth, peace and wisdom from my constant journey in this life, I speak my truth. And in this truth, my truth, I Am able to see CLEARLY, the mind state of my then and now, to definitively concur with my findings & understandings as to the emotional mind state I too was in during that time. 

For it is outside the box you see

We all have our journeys into dark tunnels and dark places but it is OUR LIGHT, and OUR LIGHT ALONE, that SHINES US TO PUSH PAST ALL THAT STANDS IN OUR WAY!
